about Bert Hedges getting married.

The “Hedges” name goes way back in Bergen County history and many relatives settled in Hackensack.  A childhood friend of mine, George Hedges, is related to Bert and has told me of the extensive history of some of the family members.  George’s father was a Hackensack Fireman during the 1950’s, 60s, and 70’s when we were growing up.
